Ribbon Cutting Burton Signworks, Inc.

Join The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce and the City of Mount Airy for a Ribbon Cutting.  Due to their success and growth, Burton Signworks, Inc., reached out in the Fall of 2010 to the Surry Economic Development Partnership and the City of Mount Airy to discuss the need for additional space for production and potentially creating new jobs.  The City of Mount Airy was able to apply to the North Carolina Rural Center for a Building and Reuse Grant.  This grant was awarded to the City of Mount Airy for Burton Signworks, Inc. expansion.  We invite you to join us in celebrating the positive results of receiving the grant.  Burton Signworks has now expanded Into the newly renovated space and created jobs on Riverside Drive.  Let's come out and celebrate their success as they grow their operation by reusing a formerly vacant textile building and providing opportunities for jobs.
